K-ON! movie was actually quite good. I've always liked K-ON! when it's good, but in the actual series that was a relatively low proportion of the time. The movie's at least as good as the best of the series was, pretty much all the way through. Definitely worth watching for all those who liked the series at least a little.

somehow Uta Koi continues to impress. I like that they're focusing on the same general area of characters while spreading out slowly. At first I thought they were going to be doing random characters each week (like Sengoku Collection) but it's actually more like they're building up a canon around the characters they introduced first

It's kind of the other way around, since the poems are all from actual historical figures in the same place in the same period of time. <_<

God damn, Kokoro Connect is awesome. Characters are getting really good, and the atmosphere is still excellent. I like that the show's going in really unpredictable directions but still doing it well.

Alright having watched SAO 2

why was this hyped

I mean it's not awful (I'd say like a 4/10 so far) but I dunno. It just feels so bland and has felt like a generic fantasy anime with MMO elements shoehorned in. Granted, they apparently covered an entire novel in this one episode but still. The pacing isn't really even the issue. There just doesn't seem to be anything at all to set it apart from any given shounen. It feels kinda soulless as well but that could be the adaptation.

Joshiraku 1 - Kind of amusing but I feel it would probably be much better if I knew Japanese and knew anything about the culture other than cartoons. Also would be better if it was SHAFT. Man, I hate JC staff most of the time.

Understanding the Japanese jokes is nice, but gg's TLs aren't much worse for the most part (it was a bit disappointing that they couldn't make any puns in the gothloli part). It's just got a weird style. Not bad or anything, but SZS and KNK were definitely funnier.

You could even say that's the ideal way to play the game. Play five characters, Play 5 characters, keeping them all around the same level. Whenever you find a good item, use it for one of your other characters rather than selling it on the AH. That way the stuff you get should be about as useful as what you would've gotten on the AH in the end, and all your characters should have good gear.

Heh, I do like sharing gear between my characters though, even ignoring the AH. It's fun to be able to make use of the good items you find somehow.

Yeah, I try not to use the AH as much on my other chars, since I really don't need to. Mostly I've just used it when I'm playing with someone way farther ahead of that character, in which case you almost have to use it to survive.

At 60, you can get a 950 DPS 1Her for 300,000 and a 1300 DPS 2Her for 300,000. 1H weapons have a lot less DPS than 2H weapons.

Inferno Belial was the most challenging boss I've had to fight so far. Other than that, I had trouble against Normal Diablo, Inferno Ghom, and...that's it. I've died once or twice against some of the others, but that was usually getting one-shotted carelessly or something.

augh, almost got to Azmodan on Inferno, then spent half an hour failing against a Hulking Phasebeast pack. Killed a couple earlier without much trouble, but I couldn't find a good place to kite these ones, and they had Vortex.

Oh hey, my Wizard is strong enough now that the stuff in Act 3 never makes me wanna quit, how lovely. Getting one-shotted is still annoying, but not much does that and it's often my fault anyway. Ghom was surprisingly tough though. Interesting how they managed to buff one of the weakest bosses into something that presents a little challenge.

Yeah, I actually played quite a bit of WD yesterday. Got up to L21 and was depressed that most of the cool moves just weren't as good as Poison Darts. I can see them getting useful for kiting later on, but...
